Pigeon. It's what's for dinner!

Let me tell you a story about a bird. Pigeon that is. We were told by our tour guide that pigeon is held to a higher standard than chicken. If a person offers you pigeon, they must be well off. Which was a weird concept for me because in American, if you offer me pigeon were no longer going to be friends. To be honest with you, it tasted like chicken. It had a nice golden-brown tint to it and was very moist on the inside. I think mentally I couldn’t get over the thought of eating a pigeon, even though they raise pigeons on farms like we raise chickens. Which mean the birds are very clean, well kept, and monitored. It was good, but I don’t think I would try it again. Just not my cup of tea.
