Sedona Taphouse.

Hello, travel family. Depending on where you live, Sundays are reserved as a two-meal day. Brunch is probably the most important meal of the day. Brunch allows you to have some extra hours of shut-eye. It creates an opportunity for socialization and to connect with family, friends, or colleagues. Having the flexibility to choose between a breakfast item or lunch item paired with a drink or two seems like a good time. One of the perks of living in the DMV is having access to a myriad of amazing cuisine. The options are endless. With that being said, not all restaurants are created equal. To avoid any mishaps involving the palate, perusing through online reviews before venturing out to a new restaurant is a must. Sedona Taphouse had excellent reviews. They received an average of 4.7 out of 5. People seemed to rave about the Southwestern cuisine, the large craft beer selection, the wine list, and the customer service.

My husband is an American and likes his beef and his beer. Choosing Sedona Taphouse was a no-brainer. When my husband and I arrived at the restaurant we were impressed with the decor and the overall aesthetic. We were given the option to sit at the bar or the patio. Since we love being outdoors, the patio seating area was perfect for us. Due to COVID-19, the menus are available by scanning a barcode with your cell phone.

Everything on the brunch menu looked pretty tempting but we decided to try the Truffle Fries and the Desert Fire Jalapenos. Both appetizers were hits. The fries had a nice crisp and the truffle oil was subtle in taste. The jalapenos were spicy and loaded with cheese wrapped in bacon. For brunch, we ordered the Hangover Burger and the Shrimp and Grits. The burger was cooked to perfection. The wagyu beef was tender and the caramelized onions were flavorful. If you are a beef connoisseur, you know that wagyu beef hits a little differently. In other words, it's freaking awesome! The Shrimp and Grits were savory and highly seasoned. The blackened shrimp was packed full of flavor. Overall my husband and I were thoroughly impressed with the entire meal. Compliments to the chef! The customer service was outstanding as well.

Sedona Taphouse is well known for its drink menu. The drink selection is vast and plentiful. My husband enjoyed samples of a few IPA beers which have more of a hoppier taste. If you would like to get a more in-depth look at the food and the drinks we tried, check out Travels of Preston, Episode #17 on YouTube titled, Sedona Taphouse Honest Review. Don't forget to support the local restaurants within your community and keep exploring what's in your backyard.
